The Christian experience of coming to faith in Jesus Christ and living for Him is an experience of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. God has given us His written Word and His Spirit, to live within us and guide us into all truth. The active presence of the Spirit was expected and manifested in the early church. One of the things that differentiated the early church from the church today is this dynamic awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the individual believer and among the gathered church. The early church was comprised of people of the Spirit.
In this series we will explore Jesus’ relationship with the Spirit and the experience of the Spirit found in the early church. We are praying for an increase in expectation and manifestation in our fellowship with the Spirit.
How To Live Strong
8/13/2017 | Steve Woodrow
This week Steve talked about how we must embrace the path of wholeness if we are going to learn to live strong in Mind, Body and Spirit.
This week Steve talked about how most of us have heard about the abundant Spirit-filled life that Jesus has for us, but we are still ambiguous about practically what it looks like. In this message Steve shows from John 4 practically what this Spirit-Life looks like.
Many of us claim to be living God’s plan for our life, but is that really the case? The phrase “Be strong and courageous” appears 10 times in the old testament, and the words “fear not” over 80 times in their context. Why is that? Because we are suppose to be living a life that take great courage, a life that is dependent on God for success. Be inspired and transformed as God challenges your life’s plan.
